Kathy has worked for Nordstrom and Associates since 2006, obtaining her CPA certification in 2019 and a CFE certification in 2021. Kathy became a shareholder of the firm in 2021. Prior to working at Nordstrom & Associates, Kathy worked in the legal field for 20 years, working in the courts, the County Attorney’s office and for a criminal defense attorney. Kathy’s accounting experience focuses on bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, payroll, sales taxes, individual and business taxes. She also provides assistance to clients who experience various QuickBooks issues. Kathy is a current member of the Finance Committee for the Newman Center on the campus of NAU. Kathy has two daughters, Meghan Roy and Lacey Polacek.
