There are many benefits with a health savings account (HSA).  Get the most out of your HSA by maximizing your 2017 contributions.  Keep in mind there are limits to how much you can contribute to your HSA each year.  The 2017 HSA annual contribution limits are: Single coverage $3,400 and Family coverage $6,750.  Individuals age 55+ get an additional $1,000 catch-up contribution per year.  Remember, you have until April 17, 2018 to add money to your HSA up to the annual limit for the 2017 tax year.
